So we took the boys to the vet on Saturday and we found out that Dexter has a dislocating right knee which is what has been causing him to limp these past few days, SO he goes in for knee surgery on Thursday, it is a pretty common surgery but it is fairly serious, because of this I am so thankful that Shawn will be able to be home with him. He will have very limited movement for atleast 4 weeks but in the long run he should be 100% back to normal in 6 weeks. I just hope that Dexter doesn't think this is all happening because of Milton.
As for Milton the doctor said he looks great, nothing wrong and appears to healthy. It has been a struggle getting him to eat but I know that is normal with him being in a new home and all the changed he has faced these past 48 hours.
I have a few pictures but I have not uploaded them yet, yesterday was a sad day for me, I couldn't even think about Dexter's surgery without sobbing but I am feeling better today because I see how much pain he is in, and I know that he will be so much happier in just a few short weeks. I think that might be part of the reason that he isn't a fan of Milton, because the puppy wants to play and Dexter know's he can't so he is almost depressed in a way.
Shawn and I are off to take the Jet Ski's to Heather's, then taking some pictures of Lindsey and Andy and the pugs THEN we might have a new baby in the family. My cousin's water broke at 6am this morning so we are just waiting for the word that Gunner is here. Shawn and I will go up there tonight and see him, so I will be SURE to upload all the new pictures and post them ASAP!!! Can't wait!!
